Isaiah 43:2-3                   When thou passeth through the waters, I will be with thee; and through the rivers, they shall not overflow thee; for I am the Lord thy God.

Psalms 34: 19                     Many are the afflictions of the righteous: but the Lord delivereth him out of them all.

Ephesians 6:12                  For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places

Let's live each day for the Lord!  Remember obedience to the Lord in all things.  Even the things we might not understand.

Mark 16:14-16

 14Afterward he appeared unto the eleven as they sat at meat, and upbraided them with their unbelief and hardness of heart, because they believed not them which had seen him after he was risen.

 15And he said unto them, Go ye into all the world, and preach the gospel to every creature.

 16He that believeth and is baptized shall be saved; but he that believeth not shall be damned

     What are we doing for Christ?  This is both a hard and easy question.  On the one hand you can say that you live your life as a Christian.  That's' a great start!  On the other hand who are you witnessing to?  There are many ways to witness to others;  we can witness to others by our actions and day-to-day lives and by talking to others about Jesus.  For some people the Jesus they see in you is all they ever will see...  So make every opportunity count!  Remember that others are watching you and how you live your life.

     Living for Christ is the most challenging and rewarding experience we may ever undertake.  We are to 'take every thought captive to our Lord Jesus Christ...' (2 Cor 10:4-6): This to me is the most difficult thing to do.  Every thought encompasses a lot.  I die to myself (or self-less ness) daily as I put on the armor of Christ.

2 Corinthians 10:4-5

 4(For the weapons of our warfare are not carnal, but mighty through God to the pulling down of strong holds;)

 5Casting down imaginations, and every high thing that exalteth itself against the knowledge of God, and bringing into captivity every thought to the obedience of Christ;
